“Brilliance Awards” is not commonly used term in most countries around the world. Our research indicates that its use as a term is concentrated in a relatively small number of countries, where different organizations have independently used the name for various recognition programmes, over several decades.

In the United Kingdom, where we do not operate a Brilliance Awards programme, the term has been used by several established organizations for employee, student, entrepreneurial and other recognition programmes.

Examples of established UK organisations that have used the term “Brilliance Awards” include:

University of Southampton
York College
Scarborough TEC
East Riding College
Skegness College

There are also other examples of employers and organisations using “Brilliance Awards” for employee, supplier and other recognition programmes.

We are aware of a UK registered graphical trademark incorporating the words “Brilliance Awards”. A graphical trademark protects the particular visual representation and design covered by the registration.

The Digital Skills Authority’s independent Brilliance Awards™ programme is a separate media, entertainment and awards brand.

Awards entries are open to individuals, organisations, teams and initiatives worldwide, providing an opportunity to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievement, innovation and excellence.
